Constructed with a fully welded steel structure, the sand dredger features a 10mm thick bottom plate and 6mm thick side and deck plates. It is equipped with three hydraulic winches positioned at the front of the main engine room deck, and two positioning pile cylinders located at the stern. The vessel also includes anchor rods mounted on the side float decks and four ballast water tanks situated at the fore and aft ends of the side floats to maintain stability during operations.
Designed for easy transport, the BaoLai sand dredger can be fully disassembled, making it suitable for rail, road, or sea transportation. The engine and pump are housed in the central engine compartment, while the side hulls serve as fuel tanks, ballast tanks, and storage areas. The main engine room is watertight, enhancing operational safety.
The cutter shaft is driven by a sealed bearing, which receives continuous lubrication from high-pressure oil supplied by a deck-mounted reservoir, ensuring smooth operation.
The control room, designed specifically for the dredging captain, is spacious and well-lit. It is located above the lounge area, providing a 360-degree view for excellent visibility. Equipped with air conditioning and an adjustable seat, it offers a comfortable working environment. The captain can manage all controls and monitoring systems from this centralized location.
Below the control room is a lounge area that includes space for a table and sleeping quarters, providing a comfortable rest area for crew members. The BaoLai sand dredger also features essential safety equipment, including water cannons, fire extinguishers, and life rafts, ensuring a secure working environment for all personnel.
