The hopper dredger’s construction features a welded steel framework with a 10mm thick bottom plate and 6mm thick sides and deck. It is equipped with three hydraulic winches at the front and two positioning pile cylinders at the rear. Anchor rods are located on the side floats, and there are four ballast tanks at the ends of these floats to ensure proper stability.
This hopper dredger can be disassembled for easy transport by rail, road, or sea. The engine and pump are housed in the central compartment, with the side hulls serving as storage, fuel, and ballast tanks. The engine room is water-tight for added protection.
The cutter shaft is driven by a sealed bearing, with lubrication provided by high-pressure oil from a deck reservoir. The control room, located above the lounge, offers an unobstructed 360-degree view and includes air conditioning and an adjustable seat. The lounge below has space for a table and beds. Safety equipment includes water cannons, fire extinguishers, and life rafts.
